A 'Dandy' (or a 'Catrin') is a term used to describe an elegant, well dressed man typically from the turn of the last century.  The image on our painting is of David Silva, Mexican actor from the golden age of Mexican Cinema.  Although versatile in acting, it was his portrayal of high society gentlement that stood out in our eyes, making him the perfect image for this painting.
