In looking for an image to represent "La Dama" or The Lady, we didn't have to go any further than Maria Felix.  She was the most prominent female actress in the golden age of of Mexican cinema.  Her strength of character, both on camera and off, made her one of the most successful actors of her generation.  She was a tough, sexy, outspoken woman who spoke her mind in an era when women were not taken as seriously and always demanded respect from her peers, while never letting anyone forget she was a lady.
